It’s time for City Council to put the people of Denver first. I’ve lived in Denver since 1984 and I’m passionate about making our city a better place to live by standing up for working families, solving Denver’s housing challenges, improving our city’s transportation and infrastructure, and building safe and walkable neighborhoods.
As a real estate professional, I’ve seen firsthand how affordable living is increasingly out of reach for Denver families. More and more hard working, middle-class families are struggling to afford to stay here because the average home in Denver now costs over half a million dollars.
Denver is now one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, but our leaders’ failure to prepare for this rapid growth created a variety of everyday problems including a lack of permanently affordable housing, an increase in homelessness, and worsening traffic jams.
I am a proud public school parent: I love reading, spending time with my family, and volunteering at our daughter’s school. I live in the south central part of our district with my husband, our daughter, and our pets. I welcome your ideas and I am honored to have your support.
I’m running for City Council because Denver needs honest and accountable representatives who will fight corruption, plan ahead carefully for our city’s future, and work tirelessly to protect and improve our quality of life for generations to come.
